Senseless violence has blighted our streets for far too long.Over recent weeks, we have seen police officers attacked while simply doing their jobs. And tragically, one police officer was killed in the line of duty.

New figures show that the UK economy continues to grow and wages continue to rise. With more people in full-time jobs than ever before, more people have the security of a regular wage. And with wages still growing faster than prices, people have more money in their pockets.

Popular local Erdington Councillors Bob Beauchamp, Robert Alden and Gareth Moore are continuing to push the Council to establish a conservation zone in Erdington. To help the campaign they have launched a petition demanding the Council support the bid.
