Erdington Summer Fete celebrates Mothers night club

Last Saturday (July 13th) saw the Erdington Town Centre Partnership put on a Summer fete on Erdington High Street. The day was set up to honour the blue plaque award for the Mothers Nightclub and aimed at celebrating Erdington High Street, the shop owners and workers and the wonderful Million* people who visit Erdington every year.

Campaign for security gates on Erdington Swimming Pool

Local Cllr's Robert Alden, Bob Beauchamp and Gareth Moore have launched a campaign to get gates installed by the Leisure Centre following reports of fly tipping, drug abuse and sleeping rough behind the centre.

Erdington Walk in Centre saved "for the foreseeable future"

Robert, Bob and Gareth attended the recent public meeting, at the Six Ways Baptist Church, of the patient user group with members of the Birmingham Cinical Commisioning Group. Where following the local campaign led supported by Robert, Bob and Gareth, the Walk in Centre has been sanded for the forseeable future.
